Issue Summary 📄

Some users are experiencing crashing after updating Shift to version 8.3. Shift will open for a few seconds and then crash.

Temporary Workaround 💡

A potential fix is on the latest Stable version of Shift, version 8.4.2.

To ensure you're on the latest Stable update, go to "Options" (3 little dots at the bottom of your Shift sidebar) and click Check for Updates. Allow Shift to update if you get an update prompt (it may take a few minutes for the update to download and complete). In case that doesn't work, you can also download the latest version of Shift directly from our website.
