If you're running an outdated version of Shift, you may come across the following error message:

Access blocked: Shift's request is invalid

You can't sign in because Shift sent an invalid request

Error 400: invalid_request

What's the fix?

You'll need to update Shift. To update to the latest version, navigate to "Options" (3 little dots at the bottom of your Shift sidebar) and select "Check for Updates". If you're running an outdated version, Shift will detect that an update is available and prompt you to download it.

After updating, try signing in to your email again.
