Check your OS permissions

Make sure Shift has the appropriate permissions on your computer to allow for desktop notifications:

• For Mac
• For Windows

How to manage notifications for emails and apps in Shift

1. Click on the email or app in your sidebar you want to set your preferences for

2. Click on the lock symbol at the top, just to the left of the search bar (Omnibox)

3. Toggle your preference next to Notifications on the drop-down

4. Click Site Settings at the bottom for more settings
