How to use delegated emails in Shift

Do you have a delegated email that you’d like to be able to access in Shift? Continue reading this article to learn how!

 

This article will walk you through the ins and outs of using delegated emails in Shift. While it's not possible to add a delegated email to your sidebar (unless you have the full login credentials), you can still access your delegated emails in Shift directly through the main inbox that's added as an account to your setup. Follow our quick steps below for how to access your delegated emails in Shift.

 

  1. Click into your main inbox in Shift
  2. Select your Avatar towards the upper right corner
  3. In the drop-down, you should see your delegated accounts listed
  4. Select the delegated account you’d like to access

Desktop notifications and unread badges for new messages in any delegated email will not work in Shift.

 

 

Once in your delegated email, simply double-click on your email icon towards the upper right to get back into your main inbox:
