Adding Multiple Accounts of the Same App

Shift is made to manage all of your email accounts and apps in one convenient location. Here at Shift,  we understand that you may have multiple logins for the same app, therefore, we have compiled a list of tips and tricks below to showcase how you can quickly toggle between multiple accounts of the same app!

How to Add Multiple Accounts for a Single App

  1. Click the plus sign in the bottom left and select "Add Application" 
  2. Scroll through categories or use the search bar
  3. Add the app to your sidebar by using the + in the upper right corner of the app
  4. Name the account, choose a color, and click "Save". Your new app will appear in your sidebar
  5. Repeat with the same app 

 

 

How to Differentiate between App Accounts in your Sidebar

  • Choose different colors for each instance of the app so that you can differentiate between accounts

  • Name your account when adding the app to your sidebar ie) utilize your client or company name. This will ensure that when you hover over the app in your sidebar you will see the name of your account

  • Utilize Workspaces to group apps according to your needs (for more information see below)

How to use Workspaces to Group Apps 

Workspaces can be utilized to group together your Apps/Bookmarks and separate unique accounts of the same app! By using Workspaces you can group your apps by client, function, or project. Your login credentials will be saved for you so when you navigate to that Workspace you can remain logged in to your Apps.
