Issue Summary 📄
When using the Freshsales app or any website that uses the Freshchat tool, a new, blank Freshchat window opens automatically and keeps opening even after closing it:
The reason this happens is due to the way Shift handles some links and the interaction between the Freshchat function and Electron, the framework Shift is built on.
Status: Fix request submitted with development ⏳
Requests have been submitted with our development team and they are investigating. A timeline for a potential fix is not yet known.
Temporary Workaround 💡
Unfortunately, there are no known workarounds for this issue 😔. We recommend closing down the Freshchat window as it pops up, or use Freshsales or a site that uses Freshchat outside of Shift for the time being.
