If you recently downloaded the Shift 6.0 update, you may be experiencing some issues when trying to print documents. The window you try to print from is typically unresponsive and will not print the document.
Status: Fixed. Available on Beta ⏳
There is a fix available for this issue on our Beta channel. Below are steps for how to subscribe to the Beta channel to access the fix now:
- Go to Options (lower left) > Settings > General > Support and Updates > Click Beta on the right-hand side and accept any notices
- After a minute or two, a prompt will show with a new version of Shift asking you to update. Accept
The Beta channel is slightly more experimental in nature than our Stable channel but is still heavily tested and a safe environment to work in. If you prefer not to subscribe to Beta, this fix will be available in our Stable channel in a few weeks time.
