Setting up an IMAP account in Shift requires a workaround. Since Shift is web-based, it does not directly support IMAP accounts, but there is a way to support it indirectly. Follow these steps to set up your IMAP account in Shift.
This feature is available for all users.
Note: Your emails will physically migrate from your entire IMAP mailbox to an Outlook account. You will only be able to view your IMAP emails via Outlook. You will not be able to revert back to your local IMAP client.
Note: If you are migrating a work/company IMAP account, you will need administrator privileges.
By physically migrating your IMAP account to Office 365, you risk losing some of your emails. Shift cannot recollect any lost emails in the process. Please be careful while migrating your account to follow the steps in the articles above.
