Find your account type (Advanced, Pro, or Basic)

Your account type determines what kind of features are available to you in Shift. When communicating with our support team, you will need to know your account type. 

Here is a quick guide to knowing your account type:

Basic (free)

Shift Basic is the free tier version of Shift. It includes the simplest elements of Shift, allowing you to test out features like email in Shift. 

To find out if you are a Basic user:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click on the "Upgrade" tab.

3. If there is the option to upgrade to Pro and Advanced, then you are a Basic user. 

4. If you are unable to add more than 2 emails to Shift, use apps and extensions, use unified search, mute notifications, and use Google Services, then you are a Shift (Basic) user.

Pro

Shift Pro is centered around email power users. At $29.99 annually, Shift Pro offers features like unlimited email accounts in Shift and access to Google Services in Shift. 

To find out if you are a Pro user:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click on the "Upgrade" tab.

3. You will see under "Current Subscription Plan" that you are currently subscribed to the Shift Pro Plan.

Advanced

Shift Advanced is for those who want it all. At $99.99 annually, Shift Advanced opens up a world of applications and extensions, unified search, unlimited email accounts, notification muting, and much more. 

To find out if you are an Advanced user:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click on the "Billing" tab.

3. You will see under "Current Subscription Plan" that you are currently subscribed to the Shift Advanced Plan.
