If you have just upgraded to Shift Advanced, your account should update fairly quickly.


However, if it is not updating we suggest giving Shift a hard refresh by using the following key combinations: 

Windows: Ctrl+Shift+R

Mac: Command+Shift+R 

If you are still unable to access your paid features please quit Shift through the overhead menu bar by selecting "Shift" and choosing “Quit.” Next, re-open Shift to speed up the process.


1. Click on Shift on the app menu in the top left-hand corner next to the Apple icon.

2. Select "Quit" or press Command + Q 

3. Reopen Shift and enjoy your Advanced features


If your menu bar is not visible, please do the following: 

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Choose the General tab.
  3. Scroll down to “Appearance.
  4. Toggle on “Show App Menu.” 
  5. Click on Application and select “Quit.
