Performance Issues Resolved

The last Shift 2.9.4 release resolved a number of issues affecting a small portion of users. With the release of Shift 2.9.5 all remaining issues related to poor performance and startup failures have been resolved.

Updates

Shift Beta Channel is Available!

In an effort to reduce the likelihood and number of bug instances, we have released our first ever customer accessible Beta Channel. Now, users will have the option to switch to Beta Mode and test the latest versions of Shift before it is released universally to all users. In this way, we hope to leverage the valuable feedback from our dedicated user base to prevent and catch bugs before they are released publicly. Users can access the Beta Channel in Settings > General > Support and Updates > Update channel. After switching, users will have the option to switch back to the Stable Client Version or provide feedback via the “Send Feedback” option in the General Settings tab.
